“Visionaries of what is there”
Strategical visions for Heritage
Sustainability offers a transversal approach concerning the historical and technical disciplines, especially from a training point of view. The theme of reuse asks for different methods, and the goal must be to design new strategies and break the divisions and customs of our disciplinary fields. We should consider how different actions can help partial solutions. A new culture must be built by a new idea of reusing what exists. Daniele del Giudice, a great Venetian writer, said: “to be visionaries of what is there“. We will do this: to have a (strategical) vision on something that apparently would only require demolition.
