The HERSUS Project

On Tue 22 Nov ’22, the AUTh Hersus Team presented its contribution to the PLEA STGO_2022 conference: “Will Cities Survive?”


The paper, “Enhancement of Cultural Heritage Awareness and Sustainability of the Built Environment through academic education: The HERSUS project”, was hosted on Online Session 2, focusing on Education and Training. It expanded on the work undertaken as part of HERSUS IO2, and particularly on a discussion of the convergencies and differences found, through the survey, between local educational conditions and those observed in the international sample –  Hersus participant institutions.

 

The session hosted AUTh’s contribution among excellent company, whose presentations,developed themes, and exploratory educational approaches instigated a valuable dialogue on current and future educational practices while also reflecting  on the influence of the global pandemic in re-shaping the educational practices of architects and engineers.
